Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 23, 2026

Our commitment

Westminster Fashion is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Standards

This website is covered by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

We are working toward full compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

This website is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.2 AA standard due to the known limitations listed below.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML to ensure proper document structure
  • Provide alternative text for images
  • Ensure sufficient colour contrast ratios
  • Support keyboard navigation throughout the site
  • Use clear, readable typography
  • Ensure the site is usable at different zoom levels and screen sizes

Known limitations

While we strive to make this site fully accessible, some content may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.2 AA criteria:

  • Some embedded third-party content (Instagram feeds, Google Maps) may not be fully accessible
  • The background video on the homepage auto-plays without audio; a static fallback is shown while it loads

We are working to address these issues and regularly review our website to improve accessibility.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact the University of Westminster:
